Come As You Are

Sanctuary Yoga is a welcoming, chair-based practice for everybody. You do not need to be flexible, know yoga poses, belong to Unity, or have previous yoga or meditation experience.

You are invited to move in whatever way feels supportive - or simply sit, breathe, listen, and be present. If all you do is come and listen, you are still practicing yoga.

There is no class fee. Participants are invited to offer a love donation to Unity Spiritual Center in gratitude for the Sanctuary space that makes these gatherings possible.

Move with Awareness. Listen from Within. Connect with Spirit.

WHERE YOGA & UNITY MEET

Sanctuary Yoga brings the Twelve Powers of Unity into conversation with the timeless wisdom of the Yoga Sutras.

The word sutra means "thread." Together, we explore the threads that connect these teachings - discovering yoga as a whole-person practice that reaches far beyond physical postures and invites a deeper connection with body, mind, Spirit, and our own divine wholeness.

Each Sanctuary Yoga series or workshop explores a different thread, giving us new ways to experience these teachings through the body - not simply understand them with the mind.

Upcoming Experiences

Join us for upcoming Sanctuary Yoga experiences designed to explore the connection between movement, body awareness, spirituality, and everyday well-being.

Each experience offers a different way to slow down, listen within, and connect more deeply with yourself.

Your Body, Your Practice.

We begin by listening.

Sanctuary Yoga is not about achieving a pose, pushing through discomfort, or keeping up with anyone else. Movements are often small, slow, and conscious, and you are always invited to make a movement smaller, rest, breathe, visualize, or simply become still.

Sometimes the practice is in the movement—and sometimes it is in the awareness of the movement.

Bring the body you have today. Bring your curiosity. Bring your breath. And begin listening.
